Pre-Tan and Post Tan Care
Learn about how to prepare and maintain care for your skin to encourage long lasting glow!
Pre-Tan Preparation
24–48 Hours Before Your Appointment

Exfoliate thoroughly, especially elbows, knees, and ankles

Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your session

Moisturize dry areas daily — but skip lotion the day of your tan
Day of Your Appointment
-
Do not apply lotion, oils, deodorant, perfume, or makeup
-
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and flip-flops or sandals

Remove all jewelry before your session

Wear hair up or use a shower cap (provided if needed)
What to Wear During Tanning
Your comfort is key — choose what works best for you:

Nude (for no tan lines)

Thong or disposable underwear (available upon request)

Swimsuit or old undergarments that you don’t mind staining
Note: Any clothing worn during tanning may absorb cosmetic bronzer, but it usually washes out.
Post-Tan Care
First 24 Hours

Avoid water, sweating, and skin contact

No showers, workouts, or lotions

Wear loose clothing (avoid jeans, sports bras, tight waistbands)

Do not let pets lick your skin
After Your First Shower
Wait at least 4–6 hours after your tan; waiting a full day is fine

Rinse with lukewarm water only — no soap

Pat dry with a soft towel (do not rub)

Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer

Avoid exfoliating, retinol, or acne products for 5–7 days
To Prolong Your Tan

Moisturize once or twice daily

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water

Avoid long hot showers, chlorinated pools, and harsh exfoliants

Use a tan-safe, sulfate-free, alcohol-free body wash
